I wish something like this would take place in the United States! Well, maybe it has in some small town or on some school board, I would have to do some research. But if it has happened, it has not happened nearly enough!

We do have an occasional gay person win an election, but nearly enough of them either!

The thing that I don't get is: We have so many male politicians who cheat on their wives. After a brief scandal, it seems to blow over. President Clinton is the biggest example. Newt Gingrich and John Edwards are other big names.

But most likely when someone is gay or transgendered, that is held against them even though they might be a much better person than the cheater! I just don't get it!

But that is so great for Yollanda! Oh, and she is incredibly gorgeous too!
