The reign of the platform heel is mercifully over, ushering in the return of the classic pointy-toe pump, which is hands-down my favorite shoe. You can’t mess it up — it works just as well with a business suit as it does with jeans. You can do the pointy-toe pump in patent leather, or covered in sparkles a la Emma Watson, or in suede or satin. There’s also calf hair and snakeskin and my new personal favorite, the cap-toe. Fun fact: they also double as anti-venom if you’re ever bitten by Courtney Stodden or impaled on one of her shoes during an attack. She’s been known to strike without warning, you know.
