Rape Survivor? You're Not Alone: Stats

Chances are you know someone who is a survivor of sexual or physical violence, or you are a survivor yourself. Statistics on violence towards women is alarming. However, it also leaves much opportunity to improve.

There are numerous charities addressing sexual violence and we will be talking to some ladies and gents who empower women on our upcoming sex series. One of these great charities is RAINN, where the below stats can be found.

We're all about de-stigmatizing rape. It may have happened to you. If so, get help, get therapy, and improve your life. You're worth so much more. If you're in a loving relationship--or want one--this blog is here to help empower you and your sex.

Sexual and physical violence can be a significant barrier to healthy sex. If you haven't yet, speak with a therapist and check out several books, like the Rape Recovery Handbook from Amazon (I personally used that book and found it helpful).

Our mission is to empower couples and encourage better sex. If you've survived sexual trauma, this is especially for you.
